Changes on GfK Supervisory Board
GfK has announced a number of Supervisory Board member changes, which will come into effect at this year's Annual General Meeting on May 20th.
Wolfgang Berndt, Bernhard Düttmann, Hauke Stars and Hans van Bylen are to leave the Board: Berndt has reached the maximum tenure, while Stars and Düttmann decided to resign before completion of their term, and van Bylen is to become CEO of FMCG firm Henkel Management.
At the request of GfK Verein, GfK's majority shareholder, the Supervisory Board has nominated former DATEV CEO Dieter Kempf, the members of the Executive Board of GfK Verein, Ralf Klein-Bölting, and Raimund Wildner, along with Henkel Management Board member Bruno Piacenza, as replacements.
Arno Mahlert (pictured), Chairman of the Supervisory Board of GfK SE, comments: 'The outgoing Supervisory Board members have done an excellent job for GfK for many years. I most sincerely thank them for their outstanding efforts. I look forward to working in the new team setup, as the candidates also bring significant experience and competency to the Supervisory Board'.
