Basis Research Opens in LA
London-based full service agency Basis Research has opened its first US office, in Los Angeles, led by former Hall & Partners exec Kate Hartzell.
 Established more than twenty years ago, Basis works on innovation, brand development, tracking, segmentation and U&A, with a focus on 'innovative project design, original reporting methods... and a commitment to compelling story-telling'.
Hartzell (pictured) joins after five years at consumer insights and data visualization specialist Hypothesis Research, where she served as a Senior Consultant. Earlier in her career, she worked for Hall & Partners as an SRE. MD Rune Mortensen comments: 'We already work with a number of US clients, and opening an office in LA was a natural next step that allows us to service existing clients and develop new relationships'.
