Mexico Office and Hire for B2B Advisor SiriusDecisions

B2B research and advisory firm SiriusDecisions has opened a first office in Latin America, located in Mexico City, and appointed Paulo Kalapis as Mexico Country Manager.

Kalapis (pictured) will oversee the company's operations in Latin America, where it reports 'a rapidly growing demand for unique expert guidance in the sales, marketing and product functions'. He brings more than fifteen years of experience leading and expanding technology companies within the region, most recently as VP of Marketing for SAP Mexico and Latin America, where he led demand generation, go-to-market, branding, customer experience and innovation strategies. Prior to this, he led Latin American marketing and sales activities for Google, Oracle, Sun and OpenText.

MD and cofounder Rich Eldh says the company 'recognizes the opportunities within the Latin American economy and understands that Mexico is the strategic center of the rapid growth occurring across the region'. He adds: 'Paulo's extensive knowledge and experience in marketing, sales and business development in Mexico and the region provides the foundation for SiriusDecisions to build upon as we expand into the Latin American market'.
