Four Promotions for Merkle

In the US, data-driven CRM company Merkle has promoted Peter Randazzo to Chief Technology Officer, Product; and has promoted three employees to VP in its Merkle RMG subsidiary.

Randazzo, previously CTO of Merkle's Agency Services organization, will now lead product and engineering efforts for the group, which last month reported 2015 net revenue of $435m - up 14% on the previous year, with acquisitions responsible for much of it. In 2016 it has already bought two UK firms, London data integration expert DBG, and Bristol-based marketing solutions provider Comet Global Consulting.

Randazzo's new territory includes proprietary data and identity assets (DataSource and Connected Recognition); a search management and bid optimization platform (Merkle Search); an analytics and measurement platform (Merkle Insights); people-based marketing technologies (MerkleONE); and an audience-based publisher product (Publisher Addressable Marketplaces).

John Lee, the company's EVP and Chief Strategy Officer, comments: 'Peter's extensive history in the technology space, as well as his background in both the advertising and publishing domains, will be a tremendous asset as we continue to evolve our market-leading solutions'.

Meanwhile the Response Management Group (Merkle RMG) division, which serves more than 200 clients in the nonprofit, government, healthcare and retail markets, has given the title of Vice President to three long-time employees, Scott Ryan, Kent Grove and Jim Stouffer.

Ryan has been with the company for nine of his twenty years in management, and becomes VP Operations, overseeing and managing core services including mail processing, scanning, imaging and data entry.

Grove, the new VP Client Engagement and an eleven-year veteran of the company, oversees the customer service provided by his implementation and client services teams.

Stouffer is promoted to VP Technology Services, after 22 years of service to the division. He leads all technology functions, including security, connectivity, software and hardware applications, and facility and property management.

Bill Sayre, President of Merkle RMG, comments: 'Scott, Kent and Jim exemplify the dedication to client success that has allowed Merkle RMG to grow and continually enhance service to our nonprofit clients and their donors. Each of them brings special skills and insight in response processing, customer service and technology'.

Merkle has more than 3,400 employees and is headquartered in Columbia, Maryland with 15 additional offices in the US, Europe and China. Web sites are at www.merkleinc.com and www.merkleresponse.com .
