New Leader for Tru Measure
Tru Measure, the ad analytics and tech subsidiary of publisher McClutchy, has appointed John Hoeft as General Manager, replacing company founder Charity Huff who is leaving the business. He will take up the post on May 23rd.
Sacramento-based Tru Measure, which was acquired by McClutchy in 2013, was founded in 2009 to provide media companies and their ad clients with tools and technology to measure and track the effectiveness of digital ad campaigns and consumer engagement efforts.
Hoeft (pictured) has been the Associate VP of Digital at the Star Tribune since 2013, having joined the paper as an Online Sales Account Executive in 1994, and then moved on to roles with Media News Group, Novus Media, Inc. and Patch.com.
Huff is leaving to get involved in one or more start-up businesses. Christian Hendricks, McClatchy's VP of Products, Marketing and Innovation, says of her replacement: 'John has an exceptional track record in data-driven marketing and sales. He is a self-described results oriented change agent with an entrepreneurial drive, which is directly in line with the mission of Tru Measure'.
