Nielsen Launches Mobile Game Tracking
Nielsen has launched an online measurement platform called Mobile Game Tracking (MGT), to provide data and insight into the performance and consumer sentiment surrounding mobile game titles.
MGT will survey a group of 1,200 mobile gamers each week, to enable developers to understand the market appeal of mobile games, segmented by gameplayer behavior and demographics; and whether marketing plans are impacting consumer audiences over time. MGT clients can also monitor how consumers become aware of specific titles and whether a game drives recommendations from existing players.
