Attest Platform Launches with High Profile Advisors
London-based 'high-volume' MR and consumer insights platform Attest has launched out of beta. The firm has also appointed former WPP executive Justin Cooke and former Which? Chairman Paddy Barwise to its Advisory Board.
Set up last year by ex-McKinsey exec Jeremy King (pictured) with $1m in equity funding from investment firm Episode 1, Attest claims to provide market insights at a fraction of the cost of some of the larger agencies, while focusing on hard-to-reach target groups, specifically wealthier and busier audiences who have a low willingness to participate in research.
Commenting on the launch, King said: 'At Attest, we are equipping organisations with the tools to carry out research that would take 4-8 weeks and cost tens of thousands of pounds with established agencies, within hours for a fraction of the cost. The very best organisations are constantly insight and fact-driven, and our goal is to make that possible for everyone'.
New Advisory Board member Cooke co-founded Fortune Cookie (sold to WPP in 2012), served as CEO and founder of WPP agency Possible UK, and is a member of Number 10 Downing Street's Digital Advisory Board; while Barwise is Emeritus Professor of Management and Marketing at London Business School, former Chairman of Which?, Visiting Senior Fellow at the London School of Economics, an honorary fellow of The Marketing Society, and Patron of the MRS. King comments: 'Justin helps us succeed with our most critical decisions, and encourages us to push the boundaries with our ambitions to permanently change our industry. Paddy is guiding us in the development of the products and strategy that define the new era of market research and insights'.
