Lotame Syndicate Marketplace Launched
Cross-device data management platform Lotame has launched a private data marketplace for the buying, selling and sharing of audience data in 'a seamless, secure, and fully-transparent manner'.
The new platform promises to help marketers find and target appropriate consumers - including those with similar profiles to existing customers - by facilitating the exchange of data in a 'safe and secure peer-to-peer environment'. It will also reveal those publishers and inventory sources with the highest audience overlap and reach.
Founder & CEO Andy Monfried (pictured) says the firm's platform is 'not just a marketplace, but rather a mechanism to easily find and characterize audiences, and to move data between two or more parties. The applications extend far beyond those typically associated with today's data exchanges'.
Two months ago, the firm launched a tool called Smart TV Audiences, allowing users to identify audience attributes based on actual TV viewing behavior, and then target those viewers on their digital devices.
