Alterline Appoints Health Research Head
In the UK, Manchester-based research consultancy Alterline has appointed former National Osteoporosis Society exec Nina Copping as Head of Research (Health).
Alterline works across a number of sectors and has particular expertise in higher education, the student market, health and the NHS. Copping (pictured) joins from the National Osteoporosis Society, where she latterly served as Strategic Development Director, and earlier undertook a number of roles across health sector engagement, policy and public affairs. During this time, Copping worked with Alterline on the 'Life with Osteoporosis' study. Prior to this, she was Executive Director of registered charity the Medicinal Cannabis Research Foundation, and she worked for the University of Southampton and University of Birmingham in academic public health roles.
At Alterline, Copping will lead the growth of the specialist health research team. MD Nick Carley comments: 'I've worked with Nina for over two years as a client and admired what she has achieved so when I thought there was chance she might be persuaded to come and work with us I had no choice but to try and make it happen'.
