Motivator Hires National Head of Insights and Innovation

In India, GroupM media agency Motivator has hired Upali Nag as National Head - Insights and Innovation, based in its Bangalore office.

Nag (pictured) joins with eighteen years' experience in media strategy, planning and business solutions. She has recently run her own business intelligence and analytics consultancy, supporting FMCG, CPG, retail and media clients. Prior to this, she held senior-level roles at Starcom MediaVest, GroupM-owned media consultancy ATG MCI, Universal McCann, Yahoo Web Services and Initiative Media. Her background includes setting up teams and processes, as well as strategic consulting.

In her new role reporting to Chief Growth Officer V. Narayanan, Nag will provide client solutions while building the Business and Project Consulting practice. MD Rabe Iyer comments: 'Upali has fantastic experience of building sustainable strategies to deliver to broader client conversations. Upali will add value to nailing clients' central challenges in the context of marketing and manageable interventions'.
