ComRes Promotes as MD Leaves for Brunswick
ComRes MD Katharine Peacock has left the business to join the Brunswick Group as Director of Insight. Separately, ComRes has promoted Tom Mludzinski to the role of Research Director, overseeing the firm's political, media, sport, charity and government work.
Peacock, who joined the firm as Director of Research in 2009, was promoted to the role of MD in 2013. She has now joined PR and research firm The Brunswick Group, and ComRes says they will not be recruiting a direct replacement for her role.
Mludzinski (pictured) joined ComRes 2014 as Head of Political Polling, having previously been Deputy Head of Politics at Ipsos MORI. Most recently, he served as Director of Political Polling, and led the firm's political and media team throughout the 2015 General Election campaign. In his new role, he reports to ComRes Chairman and founder Andrew Hawkins, who is taking on a more 'hands-on' role following Peacock's departure.
Commenting on Mludinksi's promotion, Hawkins said: 'Tom has done a fantastic job of building on our two previous General Elections in 2005 and 2010. He has been given his new responsibilities at a moment of tremendous growth and progress for ComRes, and with Tom's oversight the political and social team has all it needs to continue to drive our high rate of growth throughout the remaining two years of our strategy and beyond'.
