ABN Impact Expands to Korea
Asian market research consultancy ABN Impact has opened an office in Korea, where it has appointed former GfK MD KyungEun Chang as Managing Director.
Founded as abn Research in 2010 in Bangkok by RI veteran Brooke Courtenay and former Synovate leader Maz Amirahmadi, and renamed ABN Impact in 2012, the firm also has offices in Shanghai, Hong Kong, Jakarta, and Singapore.
Chang (pictured) joins from GfK, where she served as MD in Seoul, having previously been MD for Ipsos/Synovate Korea. She began her career as a Project Manager with Hankook Research, before joining Synovate in 2000, and working there for the next eleven years.
Chairman Adrian Chedore, who was previously Synovate's Global CEO, comments: 'The appointment of Ms Chang and the launch of ABN Impact's sixth office in Asia is crucial to its regional expansion strategy. Korea is a pivotal market in the research industry and Ms Chang's appointment gives ABN Impact the opportunity to deploy its pioneering approaches in Korea, across Asia and beyond.'
