Former Xaxis EMEA Head Named Wunderman AsiaPac CEO
Former Xaxis leader Caspar Schlickum has joined creative and data-driven digital agency network Wunderman as Chief Executive for the Asia Pacific region. He succeeds Martin Conneen who is leaving the company to 'pursue new opportunities'.
Headquartered in New York, WPP-owned Wunderman brings together 7,000 creatives, data scientists, strategists and technologists in 175 offices in 60 markets. Schlickum (pictured) joins from WPP's audience profiling and targeting division Xaxis, where he served as CEO for the EMEA region. He was previously a Partner at WPP-owned media agency Mindshare, and a Project Director at WPP's research and consumer insight agency Added Value.
In his new role, Schlickum will oversee Wunderman's Asia Pacific operations, which together employ some 1,000 people across 28 offices in 14 countries. He will also be responsible for developing and expanding the agency's offering, with a particular emphasis on digital and data-driven marketing.
