Montreal Opening for Big Data Search Firm Coveo
Quebec City-headquartered big data intelligent search and predictive insights firm Coveo is planning to invest $5m in a new office in Montreal's Innovation District, where it intends to create 50 new jobs over the next 24 months.
The firm, which also has offices in San Francisco, and Amsterdam, offers search apps which respond to questions, proactively suggest related content, and predict relevant areas of importance for each individual. Set to open this December, Coveo says its new office will become a 'creative and digital hub' where it will generate more than 50 new jobs.
CEO Louis Tetu (pictured) comments: 'Our new Montreal office is just the first of our investments in the city. We have an amazing pipeline of cloud solutions, and the integration of machine learning, artificial intelligence and data-driven personalization to our technology creates huge market opportunities. We believe Montreal is the best place for us to build on this momentum and assert our position as market leader.'
