Funds for Liverpool Analytics Firm

Liverpool, UK-based data firm Ruler Analytics has received a 'six-figure' investment from The North West Fund for Digital & Creative, managed by AXM Venture Capital. Funds will be used to recruit, scale infrastructure and roll out the firm's product internationally.

Ruler provides cloud-based website analytics software based around a dashboard showing visitor and customer behaviour from sources including web sites, enquiries, telephone calls, bookings and sales. Linked to the user's management systems, it can help evaluate ROI of different marketing channels.

Co-founder and Director Ian Leadbetter says the investment 'represents a huge step forward for Ruler', adding: 'Not only will it allow us to create new jobs in the city, it will enable us to further develop the product to incorporate the exciting ideas we have'. Co-founder Daniel Reilly comments: 'Having used other products in the market we recognise the difficulties of not being able to obtain a transparent answer as to where our phone calls, bookings, sales and new leads come from. We wanted to create a product that reports the critical metrics and attributes them to a specific marketing activity'.
