Big Sofa Hires Amanda Boote, Prepares for US Opening
In the UK, video big data technology specialist Big Sofa has hired former Infotools exec Amanda Boote for its newly created role of Global Head of Marketing and Business Development, as it readies to open its first office in the US.
Founded in 2005 by former Research International CEO Simon Lidington and organisational psychology specialist Matt Lynch, London-based Big Sofa allows users to upload, edit, analyse and share video and other digital content. Boote (pictured) joins from Infotools, where she served as European Business Development Director, having previously held a similar role at Vision Critical. Before this, she was EVP Global Accounts and Unilever Global Account Director at GfK, and Key Account and New Business Development Director at Synovate; and earlier in her career, she held senior client-side MR roles at Warner Home Video, Leatherhead Food, Findus, Unilever, Premier Foods, and Avon Cosmetics.
