Lucid Launches Independent Sample Quality Standard
US-based sampling automation provider Lucid has launched an independent, third-party-verified quality assurance and measurement program, which allows market researchers to test multiple characteristics of more than 40 major sample panels.
Fulcrum is Lucid's marketplace, through which researchers can reach sample and online survey takers. The new Fulcrum Exchange Quality and Composition Program ('Fulcrum Quality') has been developed in partnership with sample industry expert Chuck Miller (pictured) of digital agency DM2, and offers sample buyers and suppliers access to a vetted view of the many characteristics and metrics of the Fulcrum respondent pool of more than 80 million people.
Fulcrum Quality will rank the top twenty sample suppliers on a quarterly basis, with rankings based on data from the Lucid platform, Fulcrum survey performance, and responses to a benchmark questionnaire applied to the sample panels over six previous quarters.
Lucid CEO Patrick Comer says that while this quality program has been an internal function of Fulcrum software for more than a year, it is now available publicly as an independent industry-wide quality standard. COO Andy Ellis adds: 'We're proud to partner with Chuck Miller of DM2 as an independent expert to create and validate Fulcrum Quality. This program is for everyone - buyers and suppliers - and we look forward to widespread adoption of a true and transparent quality standard'.
