Cint Moves Thornton to Head New SanFran Office
Research technology and panel exchange operator Cint has opened an office in San Francisco; its fifth location in the US and second on the west coast. Deputy CEO Richard Thornton is relocating from London to head up the new office and build the team.
Nordic Capital-owned Cint, which also has US offices in New York, Princeton, Los Angeles and Atlanta, is headquartered in Stockholm, Sweden, with locations in major cities across Europe and Asia Pacific. The latest US expansion follows Cint's recent launch of self-serve, real-time insights tool Connect, which offers a cross-panel, cross device insight exchange. It will also enable local clients to tap in to the more than 20 million audience in Cint's audience insight marketplace.
Thornton (pictured) joined the company in 2009 as UK MD. Earlier, he was MD of Ciao Surveys in London, having begun his MR career as a Research Analyst at CAP Ventures.
Commenting on the launch, Thornton says the opening will enable Cint to get closer to its growing customer and partnership base in the Bay area. 'The launch of the office in San Francisco is kick-starting what will become an integral part of our continued global growth strategy and provide the foundation for the evolution of our Connect product family of solutions. This will bring together our full suite of technology solutions to access customer and non-customer data, to provide richer insights across the whole customer journey. I'm excited to be spearheading this and look forward to maximising the opportunities that lie ahead'.
