SiteFocus Tool Draws Insight from Unstructured Data
In the US, audience analysis specialist SiteFocus has launched a cloud-based data analytics platform called Communications in Focus (CIF), which draws predictive insights from unstructured data including sentiment trends, focus groups and 'objective opinion'.
SiteFocus says CIF is for use as a self-service tool for data and analytics providers, as well as consumers of analytics, and 'dramatically reduces' the effort of acquiring and sharing relevant data, while predicting trends with multi-factor sentiment analysis.
Chief Innovation Officer Sing Koo (pictured) comments: 'Traditional machine learning models require large amounts of data, work in a narrow problem domain, and require tedious supervised training. CIF's all-purpose textual analytics is applicable across industries, depicting contemporary issues regarding investor concerns, expressed in sentiment graphs'.
