Hotspex Names US Managing Director
Employee-owned marketing research firm Hotspex has appointed Aron Galonsky as Managing Director of its US business.
Toronto-based Hotspex delivers research-based strategic recommendations throughout the brand cycle, and boasts consumer panels with access to more than four million households in over 40 countries. Galonsky (pictured) joins from Interbrand, where he served as Senior Director, Strategy & Analytics for more than three years. Prior to this he worked at Harris Interactive as SVP, Enterprise Consulting, overseeing brand equity and brand tracking studies, as well as P&L management, team development, and consultative sales. Previously, he ran his own consultancy, and was VP, Brand & Communications at TNS. During his career, Galonsky has also held senior roles at Leger Marketing, and [at]Futures LLC, and he was VP of Business Intelligence at TNS in an earlier role.
At Hotspex, Galonsky will lead the US business, including thought leadership and continued development of its services. He will report to CEO Shane Skillen, who comments: 'Aron's diverse experience including growing research businesses, building world class teams, developing products, and training in behavioral and cognitive sciences makes him the right person to accelerate our brand building presence in the US'.
