Penn Schoen Berland Hires Boxt in Washington
WPP-owned market research and political polling specialist Penn Schoen Berland has hired Jason Boxt as Executive Vice President, overseeing growth and development of its corporate clients from a base in Washington, D.C.
Founded in 1975, PSB provides market research-based consultancy services to help corporate, entertainment and political clients hone their messaging and communications strategies. The firm claims to have helped elect more than 30 presidents and prime ministers around the world, including Bill Clinton.
Boxt (pictured) joins with a two-decade background in public affairs and public opinion research. Most recently, he spent eight years at Washington strategic communications firm The Glover Park Group, most recently as MD of its Research and Analytics team. Before this, he was the Director of National Advocacy at the Center for US Global Engagement, and National Deputy Political Director at the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC), having begun his career in public opinion research at Roper Starch, before joining Global Strategy Group.
In his new role, Boxt will work closely with EVP and Head of Public Affairs Margie Omero. He will report to CEO Curtis Freet, who comments: 'Jason has the right blend of corporate, non-profit, and political research experience to fit perfectly with PSB's current and future business. In particular, his work in digital and social research aligns well with our work and the future direction of the company'.
