New Tracking Service for Home Improvement Industry
The NPD Group and home improvement tracking partner The Farnsworth Group have agreed to work together with CCITRIAD, parent company of Vista Information Services, to provide a comprehensive marketing information service for the home improvement industry.
The proposed alliance brings together three industry leaders with the resources and expertise to offer a first for the home improvement industry: ie complete tracking and information services based on both consumer panel and point-of-sale information, all of which will be available from a coordinated source.
By joining forces, the companies plan to offer the home improvement industry access to their combined assets to effectively provide a complete and unique view of the home improvement market. NPD offers access to over 2.5 million consumers via its pre-recruited online consumer panel. The Farnsworth Group contributes over 10 years of research and consulting experience, whilst Vista delivers an established point-of-sale tracking system now measuring home improvement product movement in over 35,000 stores.
