IMS and Medbanks Link for China Oncology Data Push

IMS Health has allied with Beijing-based big data company Medbanks to roll out the latter's oncology-focused clinical database in China.

Medbanks' database offers a repository of oncology clinical data, gathered from hundreds of thousands of individual cancer patient cases with all major tumor types, across several hundred oncology departments in cancer centers throughout China. As part of the partnership, the pair say they will establish and implement data standards to unlock the commercial and clinical value of oncology-related data, through data collection and analysis both in and outside China.
