Joan Lewis Resigns as comScore Chair
In the US, Joan Lewis has resigned from her role as Chair of comScore's Board, and has been replaced by former US Postmaster General William Henderson.
Lewis joined comScore's Board and Audit Committee last year, having previously worked for P&G in the US and Europe for more than 27 years, most recently as SVP of Global Consumer and Market Knowledge, leading the group's insights and consumer analytics functions. She was elected as Non-Executive Chair of comScore's Board in August, when the firm moved co-founder Gian Fulgoni into the role of CEO following an investigation into irregularities in the firm's accounts.
According to an SEC filing, Lewis resigned from her role as Chair of the Board on November 17th, and the following day the Board unanimously appointed Henderson (pictured) as its Chairman. He has been a member of comScore's Board since 2002, and also sits on the Board of enterprise data and analytics company Acxiom. Earlier in his career, Henderson served as Postmaster General of the United States from 1998 until his retirement in 2001, having previously been COO, VP of Employee Relations, CMO, and SVP.
