Former MRIB Exec Jon Mais Join Radio Response

In London, radio advertising specialist Radio Response has appointed former MRIB Managing Director Jon Mais as Head of Strategy for Audience Measurement.

Jon MaisRadio Response describes itself as the UK's cost per acquisition advertising specialist for radio. Mais (pictured) joins from media and entertainment industry insight and analysis agency Amaisinmedia, where he worked as a Director for more than four years. He was previously MD, EMEA at USB memory stick specialist Flashbay; MD at media monitoring and insights agency Intelligence Media, where he worked for nearly twelve years; and spent nearly a decade at MRIB (Market Research Information Bureau).

In his new role, Mais will lead Radio Response's efforts to support the UK community radio sector. He will work with a team to profile and index all licensed community radio stations in the UK, as well independently run DAB stations.

Commenting on his new role, Mais said: 'The results will present audience data in a uniform format to agencies, national and quasi-national clients. The research will also provide each station with the ability to demonstrate listener patterns over time, which will also enable stations to provide a narrative to internal stakeholders to stations to address growth strategies'.
