Truven Exec Joins Healthcare Researcher InCrowd
US healthcare researcher InCrowd has appointed former Truven Health Analytics exec Matthew Polletta as EVP of Sales.
InCrowd offers a DIY platform to connect pharma, medical device and life sciences firms with 'crowds' of screened and targeted healthcare professionals. Earlier this year, the company launched a tool called MicroTracker, which provides an automated approach to life science tracking studies and monitors trends in the brand perceptions of healthcare prescribers and consumers.
Polletta (pictured) joins from healthcare data specialist Truven, part of IBM Watson Health, where he led sales across the firm's full portfolio of solutions, including market analytics, strategic consulting, economic modeling and market access solutions. Prior to this, he led several sales management units at Heartbeat Experts (Truven's life science business), guiding teams to expand strategic accounts. Earlier, he held consulting sales roles at Medtronic and the DoubleClick by Google unit.
Janet Kosloff, CEO and co-founder of InCrowd, comments: 'Healthcare decision-makers know they need an upcharge of new market insights technology to achieve the growth and efficiency demanded of them in 2017, and Matt is exactly the individual to help take us to the next level and meet the market demands. His proven ability to increase growth while ensuring the satisfaction of all client needs for Fortune 500 accounts will be key to InCrowd's initiative to convert the market's receptivity to new solutions into new revenue streams'.
