Manish Bhatia Joins Kantar Media as North America CEO
Former comScore exec Manish Bhatia has joined Kantar Media as Chief Executive Officer of its North American business.
Bhatia (pictured) previously served as comScore's Chief Product Officer, before which he worked for Arbitron as EVP, New Product Innovation. Earlier, he was CEO of Symphony Advanced Media, and he spent 21 years at Nielsen, latterly as President of its Advanced Digital Services team, which focuses on set-top box analytics and insights. During his time with the firm, he was also part of the team that created NetRatings, and he worked as Head of Global Operations for Nielsen Online.
In his new role, Bhatia will be responsible for managing all Kantar Media's US services, including advertising intelligence, the TGI (Target Group Index), subscription-only media planning platform SRDS, and Kantar CMAG (Campaign Media Analysis Group). In addition, he will drive development of the firm's digital business - both organically and through acquisitions; and he will join the Global Board and work closely with other Kantar assets in the US, such as Millward Brown, TNS and Worldpanel Shopcom.
Global CEO and Chairman Andy Brown says of the appointment: 'We are very excited to have Manish join us at such an important stage in the development of Kantar Media, as we seek to provide more holistic solutions for clients making the transition from traditional to digital'.
