Ad Firm Droga5 Names First Chief Intelligence Officer
New York-based ad agency Droga5 has hired JWT's former Worldwide Director of Analytics, Amy Avery, as its first Chief Intelligence Officer.
The firm, which also has an office in London, offers advertising, strategy, digital, design, social media, communications strategy, and production. Avery (pictured) joins from WPP-owned marcoms group JWT, where she led the Worldwide Analytics practice, having previously served as Head of Data and Analytics. Before this, she spent four years at BBDO, where she helped set up the analytic offerings. In her new role, Avery will oversee the firm's team of data strategists, while identifying new opportunities with a focus on 'outcome-based planning, measurement and optimization recommendations'.
She reports to Global Chief Strategy Officer Jonny Bauer, who comments: 'As clients continue to ask us to go further upstream into product and service innovation and further downstream into performance marketing, it became clear Amy was the right person to lead intelligence at Droga5. We share a belief in the power of influence to achieve effectiveness for all our clients, and we look forward to rounding out a unique creative offering that runs from top to tail'.
