InRhythm CPG Business Merged with MSA

Analytics firm Management Science Associates, Inc. (MSA) has announced a broad-ranging strategic alliance with business intelligence provider InRhythm, including the acquisition of its CPG services and customer contracts. Both companies are based in Pittsburgh, PA, USA.

Partnership with InRhythm's offshore development resources and BI software is also part of the deal, which is due for completion in April. InRhythm employs more than 250 people, providing BI solutions for retail, distribution and CPG, and has additional offices in St. Louis and in Hyderabad, India.

MSA helps government and commercial clients to identify areas of potential for analytics and data solutions, then builds operational, tactical and strategic solutions for them. The firm has more than 750 employees and offices in New York City; Atlanta; Cardiff, UK; Shanghai and Beijing; and Kuala Lumpur. Company President Tim McGuire describes InRhythm as 'an innovative and agile organization' and says it 'changed the landscape' of the CPG industry when it entered 7-8 years ago. He adds: 'In-Rhythm's expertise and technology in the CPG space complements MSA strengths and will significantly expand our range of services to benefit our clients'.
