Isentia Hires for Global Partnerships Role
Australia-based media monitoring and intelligence group Isentia has appointed Petra Masinova as Global Director of Strategic Partnerships.
Originally known as Media Monitors, Isentia has been expanding of late - in August it reported revenue up 22.6% to $AUD 155m, and EBITDA up 20% to $AUD 51m - most of the revenue growth ($AUD 20.5m) coming from its 2015 acquisition of King Content. It also bought South Korea-based media intelligence firm Social Net Creator in June last year for an undisclosed sum.
Masinova (pictured), previously Global CEO at Newton Media Group, is tasked with growing client relationships across Asia Pacific, North America and Europe. She spent a year as CEO of McCANN Consulting, leaving for Newton Media in June 2014; and earlier in her career worked for BXR Group BV, Czech mining firm OKD and in the Office of the Prime Minister of the Czech Republic, where she was Director of the EU Information Department.
Sean Smith, the firm's Chief Executive of Media Intelligence, says of the hire: 'At a time where Isentia looks to grow its global footprint and provide even more opportunities for our expansive client base, having a dedicated resource focused on client outcomes is key to our service. Petra is a prominent force within the media intelligence industry, with a reputation for building strategic partnerships and having deep expertise in digital technology. She will lead a team of specialists to differentiate our offering, and better serve our clients'.
The group is online at www.isentia.com .
