Funds for AI Measurement Firm Marketing Evolution
In the US, custom research firm Marketing Evolution has raised $4m in a Series A round of funding, which it will use to expand its artificial intelligence-based marketing measurement and optimization capabilities.
The firm provides a big data SaaS platform for measuring and optimizing the entire marketing mix. Its ROI Brain platform uses person-level analysis to deliver detailed message rotation, targeting and media mix optimization for online and off-line media, while campaigns are live; and its software looks at individual consumers across devices to evaluate what motivates them to buy.
The new funding comes from Zetta Venture Partners, whose MD Mark Gorenberg will join Marketing Evolution's Board of Directors.
Founder and CEO Rex Briggs (pictured) says the firm is 'leading a new category of marketing analytics powered by massive amounts of data and AI', adding: 'We are replacing the old approaches of mix models, brand tracking and attribution with something much better'.
