Media Researcher Aaron Paquette Joins Screen Engine
In the US, entertainment research firm Screen Engine/AASI (SE/ASI) has hired Aaron Paquette as Senior Vice President of its TV Group.
Based in Century City, CA, SE/ASI offers a portfolio of custom and syndicated market research products and services to movie studios and filmmakers. The firm conducts movie test screenings, creative advertising testing, in-theater exit polling, pre-release movie tracking and more, and is best known for its ASI Theater testing facility in North Hollywood, where it uses dials, questionnaires and focus groups to understand how viewers engage with linear and digital content.
Paquette (pictured) joins with more than two decades' media research experience. Most recently, he was EVP of the Media and Entertainment division of Maru/Matchbox (formerly Vision Critical). Prior to this, he was Nielsen Entertainment's SVP, Client Services; SVP, Media & Entertainment Insights at OTX (Online Testing Exchange); and he held research positions at Sony Pictures Entertainment and CBS.
In his new role Paquette will report to TV Group EVP Ellen Ryan, who comments: 'Aaron is a seasoned and well-respected colleague who has worked with every major media conglomerate since beginning on the client side with CBS and Sony Television, then continuing with the major research consultancies.
