Data Firm Bisnode Buys Germany's Global Group
Analytics firm Bisnode is to acquire German marketing solutions provider Global Group Dialog Solutions AG.
Bisnode provides decision support analytics, with operations in eighteen countries, and is 70 percent-owned by Swedish investment company Ratos, which contributed around SEK 54m ($US 6.1m) for its holding. The acquisition should be completed at the end of April.
Global Group has around 60 employees and is headquartered in Idstein, Germany, with annual sales of around EUR 10.5m
Magnus Silfverberg, CEO of Bisnode, says of the deal: 'With its proprietary consumer database and sophisticated marketing solutions capabilities, Global Group represents a key building block in continuing to deliver on Bisnode's strategy to become the most wanted partner for data and analytics in Europe. Global Group will enable us to offer further services to our German-speaking markets, but its offering also contributes to Bisnode's product development initiatives for the next generation of marketing solutions'.
