R/GA Opens First Office in Germany
Interpublic's New York-based digital agency R/GA has opened its first office in Germany, where it has appointed former Razorfish CEO Sascha Martini as Managing Director, with responsibility for long-term growth and business development.
R/GA offers a range of web, mobile, social media communications, product innovation and brand development services, via 2,000 employees working in the US, Europe, South America and Asia Pacific. Martini (pictured) joins the firm's nineteenth international office, based in Berlin, with more than seventeen years' digital transformation sector experience. Most recently, he led Publicis-owned full-service digital agency Razorfish, where he worked for more than eight years. Earlier, he was CEO at Bassier, Bergmann & Kindler, and a Director at Arc Interactive.
In his new role, beginning on 1st April, Martini will be responsible for developing the firm's long-term strategic roadmap, and promoting the business across Germany. He reports to Matt Lodder, EVP MD, EMEA. Commenting on the position, founder, Chairman and CEO Bob Greenberg said: 'Sascha has vast experience in the field of digital transformation and has already helped many German companies open up new fields of business. No one could fit us better. We are therefore very pleased to open our new location in Berlin and with his appointment'.
