New release of Pulsar supports the SPSS MR Data Model
PulseTrain has announced that SPSS MR clients can now analyse their data in Pulsar, the company's end-user survey analysis package. This will allow users to open Quanvert, mrInterview, SAV and other files without requiring any understanding of the original proprietary formats.
The data can be analysed directly from the SPSS data source, or can be transposed into native Pulsar format, using Pulsar's Survey Manager, to increase the performance when using large data sets. The transposed files can then also be used with Pulsar WEB.
Direct support of the Data Model will follow in Pulsar WEB this summer. Other features in this release include:- Direct Bellview(r) FUSION support with results in real-time.
- new chart engine as used by Pulsar WEB - including a simpler interface for chart design
- Support of data created by PWWGT - data transposed using the utility 'Pulsar WEB Weighting and Transposition' can now be read in Pulsar as well as Pulsar WEB.
