New Leader for Ketchum Global Research & Analytics
In New York, PR and communications agency Ketchum has promoted Mary Elizabeth Germaine to the role of EVP and Global MD of Ketchum Global Research & Analytics (KGRA), succeeding KGRA CEO David Rockland who will retire in August.
Omnicom-owned Ketchum delivers marketing, branding, and corporate communications services across the corporate, healthcare, food and beverage, and technology industries. Germaine joined in 2001 from Roper Starch Worldwide. Since then, Rockland and Germaine have worked together to develop the firm's research and measurement business, and KGRA now employs staff in the Americas, Europe and Asia.
Rockland will retire at the beginning of August after seventeen years leading the practice. He has worked for Ketchum since 2000, when he was hired to build the research and measurement business, while also managing Ketchum Interactive (now Ketchum Digital), as well as Ketchum Change (now Daggerwing Group). For the next two years, he will serve as a Senior Consultant and Chairman of KGRA.
In her new role, Germaine will report to Ketchum Partner, Chairman and CEO Rob Flaherty, who comments: 'David is a pioneer in the field of communications measurement, and his accomplishments both within Ketchum and outside of the firm are tremendous. We are fortunate to continue our relationship with him as he enters retirement. Mary Elizabeth is a consummate business professional and an astute client counselor, but more importantly, she is a tremendous mentor and the type of leader her teams want to work for'.
