Ubiquick Buys Telecoms MR Firm BuddeComm

France-based market intelligence solutions provider Ubiquick Group has acquired Australian telecoms industry research firm Paul Budde Communications (BuddeComm), for an undisclosed sum.

Lyon, France-based Ubiquick Group offers market intelligence content, predictive analytics and natural language processing services to clients in the ICT, FMCG, energy and healthcare sectors. Its new acquisition, BuddeComm, specialises in strategic and statistical research, providing consultancy services to public and private sector clients and with a network of researchers and analysts covering 190 countries and 200 technologies / applications.

BuddeComm will continue to trade under its own brand name, and be led by founder Paul Budde (pictured), who will serve in his current role until December 2017.

Ben Carpano, CEO at Ubiquick Group, says the buy will 'provide the BuddeComm research team with cutting edge content and data analytics, allowing them to do more, faster and bring more value to their loyal clients'.
