Environics Buys RSI
Environics Analytics (EA) has acquired the business and assets of Research Solutions Inc. (RSI), also based in the city - both are based in Toronto, Canada.
 EA, a part of the Environics group, was established in 2003 and offers services from strategic consultancy to software and modeling approaches, employing 170 marketers, modelers and geographers. RSI was founded in 2002 and combines software, consumer data and analytics workflows to help clients understand customers and markets.
RSI's software and its expertise in location analytics and insight will now be integrated into EA's offer, giving clients a broader spectrum of services. EA President Jan Kestle (pictured) comments: 'RSI's proven track record focusing on customer success through data, software, expertise and service is perfectly aligned with our business'.
RSI founder Don Penfold comments: 'We have been a reseller of EA's data for a long time and recognize their leadership in providing companies across North America with industry-leading data, analytics and insight'.
