MARU Buys Customer Experience Specialist SynGro
MARU Group has acquired customer experience tech firm SynGro for an undisclosed sum. The company will become Maru/SynGro but retain its current management team which will oversee its development and integration into the MARU technology platform.
Livingston, Scotland-based SynGro was formed in 2004 and provides customer experience software for large corporates - including customer intelligence platform SynGro Eye, launched in 2014, which integrates omni-channel customer data with financial, operational and CRM data, in dashboard format to give users a real-time view of their customers.
MARU says the buy will further enhance its technology platform so it can deliver insights at speed based on its in-depth knowledge of industry sectors. The Group bought eDigitalResearch and Vision Critical's North American Research Consulting division in February 2016 and Usurv 12 months later. CEO Ged Parton comments: 'The incorporation of SynGro's Customer Experience software into the Group's platform will greatly enhance our intelligent reporting capability, as we seek to become a leading provider of technology-enabled market and customer insights'.
Keith Schorah, CEO of SynGro, adds: 'By leveraging MARU's existing technology and advisory capabilities, we will be able to significantly enhance our own software offering and further expand our customer base both domestically and internationally'.
