Environics Analytics Hires Chief Strategy Officer
In Canada, marketing services and data firm Environics Analytics (EA) has appointed Paul Evans to the role of Chief Strategy Officer.
EA offers services from strategic consultancy to software and modeling approaches, employing 180 marketers, modelers and geographers. Last month, the company bought the business and assets of Research Solutions Inc. (RSI), adding to its raft of earlier acquisitions, which include Boire Filler Group, a provider of predictive analytics, data management and business intelligence; and Nielsen Canada's Spectra consumer segmentation and targeting services.
Evans (pictured) joins with more than twenty years' experience, the past fourteen at self-service data analytics specialist Alteryx, where he latterly served as Chief Revenue Officer. Earlier, he was Director of Data Sales at Pitney Bowes-MapInfo, National Sales Manager at BLR Data, and an Account Executive at Nielsen Claritas.
In his new role, Evans will develop and lead initiatives to grow the Toronto-based company. Jan Kestle, President and CEO of Environics Analytics, comments: 'I am thrilled that Paul is joining us at EA. He is extremely well qualified to lead our growth strategy at this exciting time in our history. Adding a new leader at this stage might have been a challenge, but for me there was no one better for the role than Paul'.
