BritainThinks Hires for New COO Role
London-based opinion and behaviour research specialist BritainThinks has hired Jessica Gibson for the newly created position of Chief Operating Officer.
Launched in 2010 by Opinion Leader co-founders Deborah Mattinson and Viki Cooke and their former colleague Ben Shimshon, BritainThinks offers strategic advice for political, corporate and not-for-profit clients. Its WorldThinks international division has a specific focus on reputation research.
Gibson (picture) joins from content marketing agency SevenC3, where she was Managing Director. Earlier, she worked for Redwood Publishing as Group Account Director, and she was a publisher at Haymarket Publishing and the BBC.
In her new role, she is charged with leading on and refining the company's operations and processes. Commenting on the appointment, Mattinson said: 'I'm delighted to welcome Jessica to the team. Her vast experience will be really valuable as we continue to grow as a company and we really look forward to working with her'.
