Mobile Marketing Firm Verve Opens in Texas
Location-based mobile marketing company Verve has opened an office in Austin, Texas, where it has hired digital media exec Joe Tartaglia as Regional Sales Director.
New York-based Verve uses proprietary location intelligence, mobile inventory and analytics capabilities to provide mobile targeting. The firm recently acquired German proximity-based push marketing specialist matchinguu, which offers user targeting and acquisition to app developers.
Verve already has offices in seven US offices, as well as London and Munich, but says it sees Austin as a natural location for expansion. Tartaglia (pictured) joins with a background that includes leadership positions at app reward network Perk.com, video sharing network Dailymotion, and WPP firms MEC and Mindshare.
