Bizible Raises Funds for Marketing Analytics Platform
In the US, B2B marketing analytics technology developer Bizible has raised $8.1m in a Series C round of funding, which it will use to further develop its performance management solution and expand its team.
Founded in 2011 by former Microsoft / Bing advertising veterans Aaron Bird and Peter Thompson, the firm helps companies track off-line revenue back to the online marketing source, to measure and optimize marketing ROI. Its revenue attribution tool combines behavioral and ad data with sales outcomes and machine learning to enable measurement of all marketing channels, stacking up off-line alongside digital.
The new round of funding has been led by existing investors Scale Venture Partners and Madrona Venture Group, with participation from Square 1 Bank, and brings the total raised to date to $18.75m. In a statement, Bird (pictured) said: 'We've seen strong interest and demand from B2B marketing organizations in our industry-leading marketing attribution product and now our first-to-market revenue planning solution, so the additional funds will be used to expand all functions across the company, especially sales and customer success'.
