Launch of SurveyGizmo Canada
'Enterprise-grade' online survey platform SurveyGizmo has a new Canadian offering, making use of Amazon's new Montreal data center to ensure compliance with Canadian data and privacy laws.
SurveyGizmo Canada represents 'a major step in SurveyGizmo's ongoing international expansion', the firm says, with Asia Pacific next up. Canada's data protection laws are some of the world's toughest, and CEO and co-founder Christian Vanek (pictured) says the new arrangement means Canadian users' data will be stored within the country's border - any with their data currently stored within the US can have it transferred to Canadian servers through the company's professional data migration service.
The new setup will also enhance the speed at which surveys are set up and loaded. Says Vanek: 'It's our mission to serve every customer whenever, wherever and however they need our help'.
Last year, the company introduced a rapid data collection tool called Quick Audience, giving researchers access to a broad selection of respondents to check the pulse of the general public.
