Consumer Data Firm 84.51 Promotes Three, Hires Two

In the US, consumer data specialist 84.51 degrees has promoted Kevin Kroner and Chris Gabbard to the role of Development Manager, and Steve Ruwe to Data Development Manager. In addition, Jyotsna Sharma and Ryan Merrill join as Associate Analyst and Senior Developer respectively.

84.51°, whose name represents the longitude of its headquarters at Fifth and Race streets in Cincinnati, Ohio, was created in 2015, and staffed by the former workforce of dunnhumbyUSA, the joint venture between retail analytics pioneer dunnhumby and grocery giant The Kroger Co. The new company is wholly owned by Kroger, and uses dunnhumby's tools under licence.

Kroner was previously Lead Developer and Gabbard Senior Data Developer: both now manage and mentor a team of developers. Ruwe, who previously served as Technical Architect, is now responsible for managing data operation development.

Sharma joins from Illumination Works, where she was a Business Analyst Consultant, and is now responsible for conducting analysis and developing insights for the Supply Chain In-Stock team. Merrill previously served as Senior Product Designer at Food52, and is now responsible for user interface development.
