Emotion Analytics Firm Canvs Adds AI Features
Emotion and language analytics specialist Canvs has added artificial intelligence (AI) features to its platform, to help clients understand how emotion affects behavior.
Canvs measures and maps emotions around content, and uses Twitter TV data from Nielsen to advise clients on social media strategy for TV marketing, research, production and ad sales. Insights on audiences' feelings are also used for character and plotline development.
The latest platform updates include predictive machine-learning and AI solutions for Twitter, YouTube, Instagram and Facebook. CEO and founder Jared Feldman (pictured) says most of the product enhancements will enable marketers to link campaign results back to emotions, and correlate to business KPIs. 'Emotion drives decisions, and marketers need to measure beyond what is seen to what is felt'. He adds: 'Canvs helps our clients because we can distil all that social media noise into something that is actionable and impactful'.
