IRI Debuts Respiratory / Allergy Product Tracker
In the US, retail and healthcare data giant IRI has launched a solution called 'IRI Illness Tracking', to pinpoint consumers who suffer from cough, cold, influenza and allergy symptoms throughout the year.
The new service, launched on IRI's predictive analytics and insights platform Liquid Data, integrates anonymized illness incidence data from partner company Symphony Health with its own point-of-sale and consumer shopper data. It offers tracking capabilities for the US population affected by respiratory and allergy symptoms, to help companies improve their resource allocation, activation programs and return on investment for products in these seasonal categories.
