Funds for Voice Analytics Firm TalkIQ

In the US, conversation analysis specialist TalkIQ has raised $14m in a Series A round of funding, which it will use to grow the company across both existing and new industries.

The San Francisco-based firm uses proprietary enterprise speech recognition (ESR) technology and natural language processing capabilities, to help businesses derive insights from voice conversations with their customers. Its solution can be used for recognizing purchase intent, handling objections, responding to competitors, pricing, and building rapport.

New funding has been led by Scale Venture Partners with participation from Aspect Ventures, Danhua Capital, Felicis Ventures LINE Corp and Salesforce Ventures. TalkIQ CEO Dan O'Connell (pictured) comments: 'We know we've got something incredibly powerful that will benefit literally any business with clients or customers.
