Dempster Named President of Merkle Americas
Data-driven CRM and performance marketing agency Merkle has promoted Craig Dempster to the newly created role of President, Merkle Americas, responsible for overseeing all regional operations, including sales, account management, solutions, services and marketing.
Dempster (pictured) joined the firm in 2006 as Corporate VP of the Content Solutions Group, and has since held various leadership roles, most recently for the agency's global services business. Here he led the development and delivery of all Merkle services worldwide and steered several corporate acquisitions, including IMPAQT, Social Amp, 5th Finger, New Control, RKG and Periscopix. Earlier in his career, he spent a decade at Metromail/Experian.
In his new role, Dempster will lead Merkle America's team of 3,500 employees, and source and manage acquisitions to support the strategic direction of the group's Americas plan. CEO and President David Williams comments: 'Craig has built an outstanding leadership team that has raised our game in the space, as evidenced by our roster of clients. Having worked closely with Craig over the past decade, I have great confidence in his ability to lead our Americas organization into the next generation of people-based marketing'.
