Expansion and Appointments for New Firm Agbioinvestor
Edinburgh-based agrochemical and crop protection specialist Agbioinvestor has expanded its team with four appointments; and enhanced its range of services, launching detailed reports about the crop protection and seed industries.
Agbioinvestor was set up earlier this year by John McDougall (pictured), co-founder of agrochemical and crop biotech consultancy Phillips McDougall, which was acquired by Informa in 2013. His new service provides news and analysis to the crop protection and agricultural biotechnology sectors, including coverage of seeds and traits, 'digital agriculture', and commodities. In addition, the company also conducts bespoke consultancy projects across a broad range of topics.
McDougall is now joined at Agbioinvestor by his former Phillips McDougal management team Allister Phillips, Derek Oliphant, Garry Mabon, and his son Fraser McDougall, who bring with them more than 40 years' combined industry experience.
Two new reports have been added, providing qual and quant analysis of global markets, including company financials: The Crop Protection Industry Report, and The Seed Industry Report.
Commenting on the expansion, McDougall said: 'I am delighted to announce these additions to the Agbioinvestor team. This expansion of the team at Agbioinvestor will provide us with the opportunity to deliver industry-leading analytical reports to our valued clients'.
